Laws and Regulations
Maryland has adopted laws and regulations that establish a legal framework for responding to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. These laws and regulations cover issues of disease reporting, HIV testing, preventing discrimination, and other topics. Official text copies of the laws (Code of Maryland) and the regulations (Code of Maryland Regulations or COMAR) can be found at the Enoch Pratt Free Library and at other Depository Libraries throughout the state, as well as at law libraries.
